2020 Virtual Veterans Day Program In Cornelius: Event Details

Cornelius will hold its annual program saluting military veterans online Wednesday. Here's how you can watch.

CORNELIUS, NC — The Town of Cornelius and the American Legion Post 86 will hold their annual Veterans Day Program online Wednesday, Nov. 11.

The event, which kicks off at 11 a.m., will honor military veterans and those currently serving in our Armed Forces.

This year's ceremony will feature speaker Post Commander Gene McKinney, guest speaker Sergeant First Class David Broadie, Country music artist and Army veteran Rockie Lynne, a 21-gun salute, a Wreath of Remembrance, POW/MIA Empty Chair ceremony and more.

The event will be broadcast from the Cornelius Veterans Monument at Rotary Plaza, however the facility will be closed to the general public.
