9 Arrests, Reports Of Home, Vehicle Break-Ins: Cornelius Police

Police received 13 crime incidents this week for incidents that included break-ins of two businesses, two vehicles and one home.

CORNELIUS, NC — Officers made nine arrests this week in Cornelius on charges that included drug possession, driving while impaired, resisting an officer and possessing a stolen vehicle, according to the police blotter.

Police also received 13 crime incidents this week for incidents that included one stolen vehicle, and break-ins of two businesses, two vehicles and one home.

  • Jimmy Sential Reid, 39, was arrested Dec. 4 on Autumn Meadows/Charles Town Lane, charged with uttering forged instrument
  • Timothy John Divelbiss, 46, was arrested Dec. 4 on West Catawba Avenue, charged with resisting public officer
  • John Andrew McCurdy, 47, was arrested Dec. 4 at Meadow Crossing Lane/ Heritage Green Drive, charged with driving while impaired
  • Zakary Lee Shafer, 30, was arrested Dec. 5 on North Main Street, charged with driving while impaired
  • Jeffrey Jerome Reed, 57, was arrested Dec. 5 on Interstate 77 at mile marker 28 southbound ramp, charged with maintaining vehicle for the use or sale of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession with intent to manufacture, sale or distribute methamphetamine
  • Darvin Max Holliday, 60, was arrested Dec. 6 on Torrence Chapel Road, charged with maintaining vehicle for the use or sale of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine and trafficking opium or heroin
  • Joshua Ray Carden, 34, was arrested Dec. 6 on Ruffner Drive, charged with assaulting a government official/employee and resisting a public officer
  • Noah McClaskey, 23, was arrested Dec. 6 on Paradise Cove Court, charged with breaking and entering and second degree trespass
  • Eric Reid Conklin, 30, was arrested Dec. 7 on Perkins Road, charged with possession of stolen goods/property and possession of a stolen motor vehicle
