Arrests For Assault, DWI, Shoplifting In Cornelius: Police
Five incidents of shoplifting were reported recently at Home Depot in Cornelius. Here's a run down of crime reported around town.
CORNELIUS, NC — Police made four arrests in Cornelius recently, for charges that included an assault on a female, driving while impaired and shoplifting, according to the most recent police blotter.
At least five incidents of larceny were also reported at Home Depot in Cornelius recently, police said.

- Dillon Greyson Webber, 21, was arrested Feb. 5 on Meadow Crossing and Old Statesville Road, charged with felony extradition/fugitive OTH State
- Lemuel Lorenzo Jones, 41, was arrested Feb. 6 on Bailey Road at Oakurst Boulevard, charged with assault on a female.
- Nestor Javier Rondon-Gonzalez, 47, was arrested Feb. 6 on West Catawba Avenue at Copely Drive, charged with driving while impaired.
- Pierce Robert Gormley, 28, was arrested Feb. 9 on Torrence Chapel Road, charged with common law robbery, injury to personal property and shoplifting concealment goods.
