Blood Donation Drive Underway In Cornelius Wednesday

CORNELIUS, NC — The Town of Cornelius is sponsoring a blood donation drive Wednesday at Town Hall. The event runs through 3 p.m.

If being among the 10 percent of people who donate blood isn't enough incentive, there are other perks, according to organizers.

Everyone who donates blood at the June 2 event will receive a OneBlood T-shirt and a $10 eGift card. Donors will also be able to obtain a wellness checkup that includes a COVID-19 antibody test, iron count, as well as blood pressure, temperature, pulse and cholesterol screening.
