CMS Announces Snow Make Up Days For Cornelius, Davidson Schools
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools have announced the days students will make up school cancellations due to snow. Here are the details.
CORNELIUS, NC — Students in Charlotte metro and Lake Norman schools enjoyed a couple of days out of class this week due snow, but will only need to make up one day, school officials announced.
There will be no make-up day required for canceled school on Monday, Dec. 10 for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, the school district said Wednesday.
The make-up day for Dec. 11 school closures will be Tuesday, Jan. 22 for the following schools:

Butler High School will not have a make-up day on Jan. 22, 2019. A new date and further details for the school will be announced soon, CMS said.

The school district also has two weather-related make-up days following Hurricane Michael in October.
- Monday, Feb. 18, 2019, is the make-up day for all CMS schools due to school closures from impacts of Hurricane Michael on Oct. 11.
- Friday, March 29, 2019, is the make-up day for all CMS schools fdue to school closures from impacts of Hurricane Michael on Oct. 12.
