Cornelius Search For Suspects After Vehicle Break-Ins: Photo
The suspects wanted for the break-ins were in a Jeep Compass and used tools to pry glass to gain entry, police said.
CORNELIUS, NC — Police in Cornelius are asking for the public's help locating three suspects wanted in connection with several vehicle break-ins over the weekend.
According to Cornelius Police Department, multiple reports of vehicle break-ins were reported Sunday, Nov. 1 in the parking lots of the Comfort Inn & Suites Lake Norman, located at 19521 Liverpool Parkway, and Microtel Inn & Suites, located at 20820 Torrence Chapel Road.
CPD was able to pull together a description of the three suspects after viewing surveillance footage. The trio were traveling in a newer Jeep Compass and the person who appeared to be the driver was described as tall and slender.

The other suspects were described as short and thin, and tall and stocky.
"The surveillance footage depicts three suspects to be involved, where they used tools to pry the glass from the vehicles to gain access," CPD said.
