DWI, Cyberstalking, Assault: Crimes Reported In Cornelius

Six people were arrested this week in Cornelius on charges including: breaking and entering, DWI, cyberstalking and resisting arrest.

CORNELIUS, NC — Six people were arrested this week in Cornelius and now face charges that include breaking and entering, DWI, cyberstalking and resisting arrest, according to the most recent police blotter.

A home and a vehicle were broken into this week, and three cases of fraud were reported, the Cornelius Police Department said.

Cornelius Police Department made the following arrests between June 23 - June 29, 2021:

  • Joshua David Graham, 25, was arrested June 23 on Woods Lane at Sam Furr Road, charged with misdemeanor domestic violence protective order violation.
  • Richard Todd Waugh, 48, was arrested June 23 on Burton Lane, charged with misdemeanor assault with a deadly weapon; two counts of felony breaking and entering; DWLR impaired Rev; DWLR not impaired Rec; felony larceny; fictitious/altered title/registration card/ tag; misdemeanor trespassing; hit/run failure to stop with property damage; two counts of felony larceny after breaking and entering and misdemeanor possession of stolen goods.
  • Reuben James Gonzalez, 39, was arrested June 24 on Nautique Boulevard, charged with misdemeanor communicating threats, misdemeanor cyberstalking.
  • Matthew Robert Schindelholz, 39, was arrested June 26 on Old Statesville Road at Bailey Road, charged with driving while impaired.
  • Jonathan David Vaguchay, 42, was arrested June 28 on Catawba Avenue at Smith Circle, charged with driving while impaired.
  • Spencer Adam Call, 26, was arrested June 28 on West Catawba Avenue at Nautical Drive, charged with two counts of misdemeanor assault of a government official/employee; misdemeanor intoxication and disruptive and misdemeanor resisting a public officer.
