Home Depot, Cornelius Car Dealership Report Larcenies: CPD
Several Cornelius business reported thefts this week. Here's a rundown of crime around town.
CORNELIUS, NC — Home Depot, Pizza Hut and Lake Norman Hyundai reported thefts this week, according to Cornelius Police Department. Eight people were also arrested this week in Cornelius, including two men who were charged with violating a domestic violence protective order.
A vehicle was reported stolen at Lake Norman Hyundai, according to CPD. Pizza Hut reported a break-in and Home Depot had three cases of theft.
CPD also issued four dozen citations, for charges including speeding, unsafe passing and texting while driving, according to the police blotter.

Arrests made by Cornelius Police Department between March 24 - March 30, 2021:
- Earl Clifford Killian, 32, was arrested March 26 on Statesville Road, charged with misdemeanor larceny, felony possession of methamphetamine and resisting a public officer
- Jason Michael Virden, 49, was arrested March 27 on West Catawba Avenue at Liverpool Parkway, charged with driving while impaired
- James Christopher Glinski, 35, was arrested March 27 on West Catawba Avenue, charged with misdemeanor breaking and entering
- Kirsten Tai Snyder, 21, was arrested March 28 on West Catawba Avenue at Chance Street, charged with driving while impaired
- Patrice Lynn Ballard, 60, was arrested March 28 on West Catawba Avenue, charged with Driving while license revoked/ not impaired revocation and reckless driving to endanger
- Frank Gregory Turner, 52, was arrested March 28 on Truan Lane, charged with misdemeanor assault on a female, communicating threats and domestic violence protective order violation
- Joshua David Graham, 24, was arrested March 30 on Danesway Lane, charged with misdemeanor domestic violence protective order violation
- Benton Terrail McCain, 32, was arrested March 30 on Catawba Avenue, charged with misdemeanor false report to police station
