Hop Along The Bunny Trail Event Planned In Cornelius: Details

CORNELIUS, NC — Spring is in the air, and it won't be long before Peter Cottontail is hopping through Robbins Park in Cornelius.

Mr. Cottontail is set to be on hand at the Town of Cornelius' Hop Along the Bunny Trail event, set for Saturday, March 27 from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. at the park located at 17738 West Catawba Avenue, the town's Parks, Arts, Recreation & Culture department announced.

"Bring a camera to record the fun and your basket to collect goodies along the trail!" organizers said.

The new spring event requires registration, as well as masks to be worn and social distancing, PARC said. Priority registration for Cornelius residents is underway now, and will open to the general public beginning Monday, March 15.

According to organizers, the free event will include:

• Take home egg hunt kit
• Take and make craft
• Concessions
• And a visit by Peter Cottontail, and an available photo opportunity
