I-77 Crash In Cornelius Backs Traffic Up Into Iredell County

CORNELIUS, NC — An armored truck crash along Interstate 77 in Cornelius sparked massive traffic delays that reached Iredell County, according to reports.

First responders from the Cornelius and Huntersville fire departments responded to the accident scene in the southbound express lane at the Westmoreland Road overpass shortly before 11 a.m.

The scene was cleared shortly afterwards, Huntersville Fire said.
