Lake Norman YMCA Food Share Set For Friday: How To Sign Up

CORNELIUS, NC — Lake Norman YMCA in Cornelius is hosting a food share of family meals including fresh produce for those in need Friday, April 23.

The event is in conjunction with Loaves and Fishes, and is set to run from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 at the YMCA facility located at 21300 Davidson Street in Cornelius.

Patch has partnered with Feeding America to help raise awareness on behalf of the millions of Americans facing hunger. Feeding America, which supports 200 food banks across the country, estimates that in 2021, about 42 million Americans may not have enough nutritious food to eat due to the effects of the coronavirus pandemic.
