Lake Safety Day Event Set For Saturday In Cornelius

CORNELIUS, NC — A Lake Safety Day event is set to take place at Ramsey Creek Park in Cornelius Saturday.

The June 26 event will feature members of the Catawba County Sheriff's Department, Cornelius Police Department, Iredell County Sheriff's Department, North Carolina Wildlife Commission, North Carolina Coast Guard Auxiliary, and North Carolina Power Squadron, who will be on hand to answer questions regarding boating safety and laws.

The event will be held at 11 a.m. at the Cornelius park, located at 18441 Nantz Road.
