Larceny, Fraud Reported At 4 Cornelius Businesses: Police Blotter
Food Lion, Circle K, Home Depot and Tienda Mexicana El Toro Market were all victims of crime this week, according to the police blotter.
CORNELIUS, NC — Officers made three arrests this week in Cornelius for charges that included larceny, driving while impaired and carrying a concealed gun, according to the police blotter.
Police also received reports of fraud and theft from several Cornelius businesses, and issued citations for texting while driving, unsafe tires and more than 30 tickets for speeding.

- Joel Kashawn Beard, 21, was arrested Jan. 6 on Statesville Road, charged with carrying a concealed gun and simple possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance.
- Tyler Dakota Tallant, 24, was arrested Jan. 8 at Advocates Court and South Street, charged with driving while impaired.
- Justin Shane Frasier, 30, was arrested Jan. 12 on North Main Street, charged with larceny.
