New Aldi Set To Open In Cornelius: Event Details

CORNELIUS, NC — Aldi is set to open a new store in Cornelius on Thursday, Nov. 19, it announced Friday.

The new Cornelius location is located at 18027 Laith Way. The store will be open from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m., Monday through Sunday.

The opening is one of two planned in the region in the coming weeks, Aldi said. In December, a new location at 7864 Charlotte Highway will open in Indian Land, South Carolina. The expansion is part of a company plan to become the third-largest grocery chain in the U.S. by the end of the 2022, it said.

In September, the chain surveyed North Carolina shoppers about their favorite Aldi products.
