'Pack The Patrol Car' School Supply Drive Underway In Cornelius

The Cornelius Police Department is collecting school supplies for area schools. Here's how you can donate.

CORNELIUS, NC — A new school year is about to begin and the Cornelius Police Department has launched a campaign to help area students with needed school supplies.

The "Pack a Patrol Car" school supply drive began Monday, Aug. 10 and runs through Friday, Aug. 21.

How To Donate
School supply donations may be dropped of at the Cornelius Police Department, located at 21440 Catawba Avenue in Cornelius. Supplies may be left in the box in the breezeway of the police department's lobby.

"We ask that you please try to bring the supplies by during Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.," CPD said, adding that social distancing guidelines should also be followed.

All school supplies will be distributed to the following schools:

  • Cornelius Elementary
  • J.V. Washam Elementary
  • Bailey Middle School
  • W.A. Hough High School
