Pick-A-Pumpkin Event Set For This Weekend In Cornelius
The Town of Cornelius is hosting two Pick-A-Pumpkin events this weekend at Robbins and Bailey Road parks.
CORNELIUS, NC — Halloween is two weeks away, which means it's time to decorate the gourds. The Town of Cornelius is hosting two "Pick-A-Park, Pick-A-Pumpkin" events for painting and carving pumpkins this weekend.
"Bring yourself or your family to one of our beautiful parks, pick out a pumpkin, grab a carving set, and enjoy creating a Halloween masterpiece! Not into carving? No worries. We will have paint, too," say organizers. "Each registration includes either a medium pumpkin and carving kit, or a small pumpkin and painting supplies. To ensure your safety, there will be no sharing of supplies unless from the same family."
The events, for kids and adults alike, require registration, according to organizers.
