CORNELIUS, NC — Rain is headed our way this weekend, and will be sticking around in the forecast through most of next week, according to the National Weather Service.
Clouds are expected to move into the greater Charlotte metro region Friday, with showers beginning late Saturday evening. Sunday will likely be drenched with rain all day, tapering off later in the evening.
Monday will offer a brief respite from cloudy skies, but the chance of rain returns in earnest by Tuesday night through Thursday, Oct. 31.

Mostly cloudy, with a high near 70. Light east wind.

Cloudy, with a low around 58. Light east northeast wind.

Mostly cloudy, with a high near 72. Southeast wind 3 to 8 mph.

Showers, mainly after midnight. Low around 66. Southeast wind around 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.

Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 11am, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 11am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 77. Southwest wind around 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%.
