Three people were arrested this week in Cornelius on charges that included simple assault, resisting an officer and property damage.
CORNELIUS, NC — Three people were arrested this week in Cornelius and now face charges that include simple assault, resisting an officer and property damage, according to the most recent police blotter.
One vehicle was reported stolen this week, and one theft was reported at Sailpointe at Lake Norman apartment complex Cornelius Police Department said.
Cornelius Police Department made the following arrests between June 16 - June 22, 2021:

- Eric Reid Conklin, 31, was arrested June 16 on Watoga Way, charged with misdemeanor injury to real property.
- Matthew Alen Seese, 28, was arrested June 17 on One Norman Boulevard, charged with misdemeanor assault government official/employee; misdemeanor carrying a concealed weapon; misdemeanor resisting public officer.
- Demitrius Danelle Canon, 28, was arrested June 20 on Interstate 77 at mile marker 28 in the southbound lane, charged with misdemeanor simple assault.
