Traffic Alert: 5 Car Accident Shuts Down I-77 North
A crash in the northbound lanes of Interstate 77 Friday closed down both lanes according to reports.
CORNELIUS, NC — A five-car accident closed down all northbound lanes along Interstate 77 Friday afternoon between exits 28 and 30, according to reports. Drivers are urged to avoid the area.
Firefighters from Cornelius and Davidson responded to the scene and one person had to be extricated from his vehicle, according to Cornelius-Lemley Fire Rescue.
