Virtual Dog Show Underway In Cornelius: How To Vote

CORNELIUS, NC — It's probably not a stretch to say we could all use some cute dog therapy right now. This year, the All American Dog Show in Cornelius is offering plenty of it, and is holding its celebration of the cutest canines in the community online.

"Registrations and pet photos have been received and it’s time to VOTE!" the Town of Cornelius Department of Parks, Arts, Recreation & Culture (PARC) said.

Voting is taking place online and may be found here.

"Select the discussion tab and VOTE for your favorite pups today!" PARC said. "The public can cast a vote by liking or showing a little love for their favorite entries. The nine virtual pet contests include Best Dressed, Best Coat, Best Spots, Most Ear-Resistible Ears, Best Puppy Dog Eyes, Best Trick, Best Kisser, Most Unique Tail, and the All-American Dog."

Online voting will take place through Sept. 20. Winners will be notified Wednesday, Sept. 23.

On Sept. 26, winning pets and their people will be invited to attend the Awards Ceremony at D9 Brewing. A recording of the awards ceremony will be streamed on PARC's Facebooks page and YouTube channel on Oct. 4 at 4 p.m.
