AT&T Customers: Did You Know You're Paying a New Fee?
A new "Mobility Administrative Fee" has gone into effect for all monthly cell phone contracts.

It's a small fee at just 61 cents but will net AT&T $775 million annually — and if you haven't paid attention to your bill, you might not even know you're paying it.
The Huffington Post reports the new "Mobility Administrative Fee" went into effect on all monthly cell phone contracts May 1 for more than 107 million wireless subscribers. The fee, according to the company, will cover certain expenses such as interconnection and cell site rents and maintenance.
The Huffington Post reports analyst Jon Hoffman called the fee "arbitrary," and wrote that the company imposed the fee "Because they can."
