Fort Bragg's Morale Welfare and Recreation opened their online registration Monday for the annual G.I. Jane event on Sept. 14, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Scheduled activities include mountain biking, paintball, skeet shooting and the alpine tower. It is open to female DoD ID cardholders and their guests. I took part in this event two years ago and it was a blast. From skeet shooting to paintball - it was a day of exhausting fun. Many local businesses were generous in donating gift certificates for a day of pampering afterwards.
