Community Information Exchange Questions and Answers
Fort Bragg's monthly meeting hosted by senior leadership.

The Facebook forum opened up Thursday morning at 9:30a.m. for participants to gain information.
Col. Sanborn: Welcome and thank you for attending this morning. Some of you who may have been involved in the Fort Bragg community for a long time, so you will realize that we used to do something like this years ago. Other garrisons are doing this successfully and we're using their model to help us have another avenue of providing information to you.
Q: DES on AIE: If you're on Fort Bragg and have been here since April, your information is already is in our system (you, spouses, children, etc.) are already in our system. We are going to have another data push before we launch to capture everyone who has come to Fort Bragg since April.
A: DES on AIE: We looked at Fort Bragg and the 11 counties that surround Fort Bragg and had 260,000 records from DEERS database uploaded to our system. Most ID cardholders in the area will already be registered in the Fort Bragg system. We will not go live until we are totally ready. For those who were not part of the data dump and not already in the system, registration is quick and simple. AIE will prevent anyone with a history of misconduct on the installation from entering the installation. They will be in the system.
Q: Can we volunteer for SOS?
A: Survivor Outreach Services: We are hosting a dove release for our Gold Star parents the end of September. It is an invitation-only event. We have 462 Gold Star parents in North Carolina. This is a way we can connect our Gold Star parents and continue to support them.
Q: for FSU Wellness: You have free on-site childcare, as well?
A: CSM Tate: This (the FSU Wellness Center) is a free service for service members. If your a service member or Family member, this is a wonderful opportunity to get counseling services, massage therapy or acupuncture off post. It's a great service provided and you should take advantage of it.
Q: for Womack: When you live off post do you have to use Womack for care?
A: We are opening a new primary care clinic, which will enroll around 8,000 patients, around May 2014 near Linden Oaks. The next Womack Facebook Town Hall here on the Fort Bragg Facebook page on Sept. 17 at 1 p.m.
