Cumberland County Sheriff’s Detectives are searching for a suspect in the early morning armed robbery of a local convenience store.
A clerk reported the suspect entered the Kangaroo at 3123 Murphy Road in Fayetteville at around 5:46 a.m. on Tuesday, September 03, 2013. He is described as a short, black male, wearing a white shirt.
The suspect made away with an undisclosed amount of money and fled on foot via the rear of the building.
No injuries were reported.
