Cumberland County Sheriff’s detectives have begun a death investigation after a body was found this morning at a recycling plant in Fayetteville.
Investigators were called to Pratt Industries at 3780 Owen Drive shortly before 8:30 a.m. when an employee reported seeing a body lying in a pile of cardboard boxes.
The body, which is partially decomposed, appears to be a female. The remains will be sent to the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Raleigh for identification.
