Fayetteville Has Incurred Nearly 4 Inches of Rainfall
Tropical Storm Andrea heads up the Carolina coast.

Early Friday morning the National Weather Service reported that Tropical Storm Andrea is moving up the East coast headed towards the coast of Georgia and the Carolinas.
Fayetteville has already received more than 3.7 inches of rainfall with another 1 to 2 inches expected throughout the day. The creeks in Fayetteville are rising and downtown at Festival Park the water is nearly to the top of the bridge.
A flash flood warning has been issued for Franklin, Johnston, Nash, Wake and Warren counties until 10 a.m. Friday, and other surrounding counties are under a flash flood watch until 6 p.m. A tornado watch has been issued for Edgecombe, Greene, Halifax, Wayne and Wilson counties until 1 p.m. according to a WRAL weather report.
