Fayetteville Tech softball signed five players in a group ceremony in the Tony Rand Student Center on Friday, adding three in-state players and one from out-of-state to its 2021-22 recruiting class, while also securing returning Trojan pitcher Jaylynn Faughn for next season.

Lynnsey Benson, a utility player from Topsail High School, and Jessica Chavis, a catcher from Cape Fear High School, signed in person. Jalexis Terry of J.H. Rose High School and Katie Cooper of New Castle, Indiana, participated remotely via Zoom.
