Female Cashier Robbed at Gunpoint at Kangaroo Convenience Store
Convenience store robbed on north end of Fayetteville.

Cumberland County Sheriff’s Detectives are searching for a suspect wanted in the September 2, 2013 armed robbery of a local convenience store.
Investigators say the suspect entered the Kangaroo at 1571 McArthur Road in Fayetteville at around 1:41 a.m. and appeared to be purchasing a soda and bag of chips. While the cashier was totaling the charges, the suspect brandished a handgun and demanded money. He then forced the cashier to lie on the ground and count to 100, threatening to shoot her if she didn’t obey his demands.
Multiple surveillance video cameras show the suspect leaving the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
