Female Wearing Helmet and Brandishing a Hammer Sought for 3 Robberies
Detectives seeking public's assistance in identifying female wearing a helmet and using a hammer to commit robberies.

Detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department are currently investigating three (3) robberies that have similar characteristics in the suspect and the weapon used during each incident.
On July 5, 2013 at approximately 6:51 pm, an unknown white female entered Payless Shoe Source located at 3725 Ramsey Street armed with a hammer. The suspect then approached a clerk at the business and demanded money from the register. The suspect then fled from the business on foot. The suspect was described as a white female, 5’06” in height, blonde hair and approximately 40 years of age.
On July 7, 2013 at approximately 8:56 pm, a white female wearing a black helmet with a clear face shield and sunglasses, entered the Family Dollar located at 3436 Bragg Boulevard armed with a hammer. The suspect then approached a clerk at the business and demanded money from the register. The suspect stated to the clerk, “I’m sorry” as she fled from the business and was then observed driving away on a black moped. The suspect was described as having worn a gray sweatshirt, blue jeans, tennis shoes and gloves on her hands.
On July 8, 2014 at approximately 6:43 am, a white female wearing a dark in color helmet with a clear face shield, entered the Burger King located at 2820 Bragg Boulevard armed with a hammer. The suspect approached an employee at the business and began demanding money from the safe. The employees were able to flee to safety without being harmed by the suspect. The suspect was observed fleeing on a black moped after the attempted robbery. The suspect again was described as a white female, 5’05” to 5’06” in height, thin build, blonde hair and approximately 40 years of age.
Detectives are requesting the public’s assistance in indentifying the suspect in connection with the above listed robberies. Surveillance images have been added to the media release for dissemination.
