First Responders Ceremony Downtown
Honoring all first responders - free simulator rides inside the museum on Wednesday.

The Airborne & Special Operations Museum Foundation will recognize the community's finest during their annual First Responder Ceremony
This year the Foundation will post American Flags in memory of all the fallen First Responders that gave their life responding to the terror attack on the World Trade Center.
In partnership with the Fayetteville Fire Department, Police Department, Cumberland County Sheriff's Department, the Cumberland County EMS and Rolling Thunder, they will post the American flags at 9:30 a.m. near the circle on the museum grounds.
At 9:45 a.m. the site will be turned over to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation who will provide a ceremony unveiling the 9-11 mobile memorial (and museum).
A special ribbon cutting will be performed at 9:59 a.m, the exact time the second tower fell in New York City where multiple civilians and First Responders were killed.
Immediately after the ceremony the 9-11 mobile memorial will be open to the general public free of charge. The memorial will be available into the evening hours and open again the day through the early evening of September 12.
In honor of all First Responders the Airborne & Special Operations Museum will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 11, 2013. Any First Responder with an EMS card, ID and/or badge presented at the Museum information desk will receive a free simulator ride ticket and discount coupon for the museum gift shop. Starting at 11:30 a.m. in the circle, the ASOM Foundation will provide a free hot dog/chips/drink meal for all first responders.
