
FORT BRAGG, N.C. – Bragg about Recycling will host a public recycling drive on Saturday, February 23 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., in the North Main Exchange and South Main Exchange parking lots.
Accepted items include plastics labeled #1 through #7 with the exception of Styrofoam (#6), aluminum cans, cardboard, shredded office paper, newspapers and magazines, ink cartridges, waste cooking oil and glass. Bragg about Recycling will also accept personal electronics such as televisions, computers and monitors, computer peripherals with the exception of hard drives, keyboards, printers, scanners, cables, telephones, cellular phones, video games and game systems, CDs, DVDs and small kitchen appliances with the exception of refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers and other white goods. If you wish to recycle a computer, please first remove the hard drive. Government issued electronics should be relinquished to DLA Disposition Services. For more information, call 910-432-6412.
Bragg about Recycling also accepts recyclables at the Fort Bragg Recycling Center, Building 3-1240 in the Directorate of Public Works campus on the corner of Butner and Reilly Roads, Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
