Cumberland County Sheriff’s Detectives are searching for a group of suspects targeting unsuspecting victims in a debit card theft scheme.
Investigators are working with banks and their customers in effort to capture the offenders.
The group being sought includes at least three women and two men who were captured on surveillance video withdrawing money from ATMs with stolen debit cards.
The suspects target customers in businesses making purchases with debit cards. They hover nearby to scope their victim’s personal codes, follow them home and steal the cards.
