As the effects of the impending furlough of Department of the Army civilians, and funding reductions across the Department of Defense begin to take effect, Fort Bragg leaders have announced the following impacts to services provided to the Fort Bragg community.
“While the furloughs will impact the services that we can provide to the military community, we will not lose our capacity to train and equip our Airborne and Special Operations service member, deploy them if the call comes, and provide essential life, health and safety measures to our war fighters, their Families and our civilian workforce,” said Col. Jeffrey Sanborn, Fort Bragg Garrison Commander.
