Gary Sinise and His Lt. Dan Band to Perform a Benefit Concert

Ticket proceeds go towards 'Smart Homes' that will be built for two tripe amputee Veterans

Honoring two local heroes, the upcoming Gary Sinise and The Lt. Dan Band benefit concert will take place on September 13, 2013.

The Tunnel to Towers Foundation and The Gary Sinise Foundation have partnered through their Building for America’s Bravest program to build Army MSgt. John Masson and Marine SSgt. Thomas McRae “Smart Homes.”

Masson is a triple amputee as a result of an IED explosion in Afghanistan, following multiple deployments. In recognition of his heroism, he was awarded a Purple Heart and two Bronze Stars.

McRae is a triple amputee also from injuries suffered in an IED explosion in Afghanistan. McRae, who is the recipient of two Purple Hearts, also sustained brain injuries and is legally blind. 

The public is encouraged to buy tickets and attend the Gary Sinise and The Lt. Dan Band benefit concert to support these two local heroes and their families. Proceeds from the concert ticket sales will go towards building John Masson’s and Thomas McRae’s “Smart Homes.”
