Jack Britt Graduating Senior Won a New Car

Congratulations to Bryce Johnson, a senior at Jack Britt High School, on winning the “Driven 2 Excel” 2012 Toyota Scion during a give-a-way celebration on Tuesday, June 4 at the Rick Hendrick Toyota – Scion dealership in Fayetteville.
Johnson and 84 other graduating seniors were in the running for the new car based on their attendance and academic achievements. Hundreds of high school juniors were also invited to the celebration in anticipation of winning next year’s new car.

The students enjoyed food, music, prizes, and spoke with representatives from several colleges and universities. The names of seniors who have continued to maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher and no unexcused absences were placed in a drawing for the chance to win. Juniors with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher also received special invitations to attend the Celebration, as they will be in the running for next year’s give-a-way.
