There's lots happening this weekend in Fort Bragg and Cumberland County. The first annual Comic Con and More!

Friday and Saturday

Find out what's happening in Fort Braggfor free with the latest updates from Patch.

Spend time at Ole Mill Days in Hope Mills to celebrate the community’s mill heritage. Friday night features a street dance, Saturday a festival, tractor pull and other activities.

Sanctioned by the NC Pork Council, the 12th annual Vander Pig Cookoff includes 30 contestants. Food, music, and family-oriented fun are on the menu.

Saturday

Fort Bragg‘s Smith Lake Recreation Center hosts the 8th Annual Volksmarch and Festival. In addition to a 10K and 5K run, this special event includes German cuisine, German music, hay-wagon rides and bouncy houses.

Fayetteville First Annual Comic Con, to be held at the Crown Expo Center includes special guest from the Walking Dead, other special guests, a variety of comic book artists, cosplay contests and more.

Sunday

Get into the Halloween spirit at Carvers Creek State’s Park’s Bat Hike. Meet at the park office at 6 pm for a short presentation before taking off on the hike.
