This coming Monday morning, August 26, 2013, area schools will begin their new school year.
Drivers are reminded to be aware of active school zones along their normal routes of travel. Historically, the first week of school brings heavy traffic into school zones and drivers should expect delays in these areas. Drivers should also be aware that Fayetteville and Hope Mills Police Officers will be conducting traffic enforcement in school zones and Officers will issue citations for speeding in the school zones.
Please help us make this first week of school safe and crash free.
