Orchestra Parents Night

Elementary Orchestra Parent Nights will be held across the county so parents can receive information about the 5th grade orchestra program provided by Cumberland County Schools.  If a student is in the 5th grade and interested in learning to play a stringed instrument, we encourage parents and students to attend one of these Parent Nights between the hours of 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. to receive the necessary information for getting started.  Members of the orchestra faculty will be on hand to answer any questions parents may have concerning the orchestra program.  Orchestra teachers will individually counsel parents and students on instrument selection and properly measure students for the correctly sized instrument.  In addition, they will let parents know what other materials will be need for class and when their child’s class will be held at his/her school.  For convenience, Parent Nights will be held in each attendance area across the county.  We encourage parents and students to go to the Parent Night in their attendance area, but they may attend any of the Parent Nights listed below.
