Postal Employee Busted for Fraud with Television Appearance

Fayetteville woman admitted to workers compensation fraud.

 

A Fayetteville U.S. Post Office employee pleaded guilty to workers compensation fraud before a U.S. Magistrate in Greenville.

Continuing to file for pay, Cathy Wrench Cashwell stated she could not reach, climb or grasp to do her job after suffering from pain in her arm, shoulder and neck from loading mail trays into work vehicle in 2004 according to a WISTV news report.

In Sept. 2009 Cashwell appeared on "The Price is Right" and spun the big wheel two times, which required both reaching and grabbing motions.

A supervisor at a Fayetteville post office location was unable to make comments.
