A crime prevention specialist in Fayetteville has reported several incidents of the attached notice being left on both apartment and duplex residences.
Supposedly two people were reported putting flyers and the notice (as pictured) and it is believed to be a scam.
The listed number goes through to a Mr. Thompson out of Deland, FL. He explained that they hire local people to put the flyers up and they sell cookware to people with good credit.
Here is the information and a description of the two individuals that were off Cliffdale Road:
An older white male with balding gray hair and glasses, and the other an older black female with no teeth. They were driving a Red Honda Accord, with Tennessee plates 244-QTX.
