Detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department are requesting the public’s assistance in locating Margie Ellen (Benard) McLaurin, who was reported missing by her family. Margie McLaurin was last seen by her family on August 18, 2013 at approximately 1:00 pm in the area of the Eccles Park subdivision. McLaurin does not have a motor vehicle and may be on foot. McLaurin’s family advised that she needs her prescribed medication for a preexisting condition, as a Silver Alert has been issued.
Margie McLaurin is described as a:
• Black Female
• 53 years of age
• 5’04, 140 pounds
• Black hair / Brown Eyes
• Last seen wearing
o Striped collared shirt over a tan shirt
o Blue Jeans
o Black slip on shoes
o Black/White purse
