Suspect Arrested in Connection with Shooting Death of Errol Williams

Kourtney Terrell Reed was arrested on Wednesday.

On Wednesday, September 11, 2013, members of the US Marshal’s Task Force located and arrested Kourtney Terrell Reed at a residence in Saint Pauls, NC for first degree murder, two counts of first degree kidnapping, robbery with a dangerous weapon and conspiracy to commit robbery in connection with the death of Errol Williams on September 1, 2013.

During an attempt to continue flight, Kourtney Reed retreated to the attic of the residence, however he fell into the hands of law enforcement officers as he came crashing through the ceiling.

The US Marshal’s Task Force plays an integral role in the apprehension of violent fugitives who have taken to flight. The Fayetteville Police Department has two (2) detectives assigned to the Task Force, who are actively involved in the intelligence gathering and subsequent apprehension of some of the most prolific offenders, including the capture of Kourtney Reed.

Detectives also are continuing to seek information concerning the whereabouts of Kelly Eugene Elliott (B/M, 08/27/1982) who has also been charged with 1st Degree Murder, 1st Degree Kidnapping (2 counts) and Robbery With a Dangerous Weapon in connection with the death of Errol Williams on September 1, 2013. Elliott has a last known address of 4750 Dominion Road in Fayetteville and should be considered armed and dangerous.

Kourtney Reed is currently in the custody of the Fayetteville Police Department and additional information will be released as it becomes available.
