• The Fort Bragg Muslim Community is hosting a Ramadan lecture and iftar Aug. 2, at 7 p.m., in the Chapel Annex behind Pope Theater. The topic is "Islam: Basic Principles and Practice." The lecture is open to all members of the Fort Bragg community.

• The annual American Red Cross Run for The Red 10k 5k event on Saturday, Aug. 3 at 10a.m. The event registration and kickoff is at Festival Park downtown. 
• Fort Bragg's youth NFL Punt, Pass and Kick competition, register on Aug. 3, at 10:15 a.m., on Polo Field. Stop by the Youth Sports & Fitness Office for more info and to register.
• Cape Fear Regional Theater's SIDEWAYS STORIES FROM WAYSIDE SCHOOL. Our Teen Summer Drama Camp students are hard at work preparing this awesome show for Friday, August 2 at 5:30. For Tickets call 323-4233.
