On Saturday, July 27, 2013, the Fayetteville Police Department in conjunction with the City of Fayetteville, the E.E. Smith Alumni Organization, local businesses and churches will host the Murchison Road Empowerment Day.
The event will be held at the corner of Murchison Road / Jasper Street and is set to last from 9am to 1pm. The event is free and will offer Food, Games, Activities for Children, Entertainment and Health & Wellness information.
The keynote speaker for the Empowerment Day will be Dr. Eric Mansfield along with a special performance by the Magnificent Marching Machine of E.E. Smith High School.
