
Cumberland County Sheriff’s Detectives have arrested two local men on multiple drug charges.
Rio Ofunbaraire Tizol-Jackson, 22, who is homeless and Ryan Marchon ,24, Bingham of 433 Palmerland Drive, Hope Mills were taken into custody this afternoon.
Detectives say the two men were sitting in a 2013 Dodge Ram pickup truck that was parked in a driveway on Donabell Street. When officers began to approached the vehicle, Bingham jump from the driver’s seat and dropped a digital scale on the ground. He was immediately detained.
Meanwhile, Jackson was apprehended one street over after bailing from the truck and running.
Detectives confiscated 5.2 grams of marijuana, 1.9 grams of crack cocaine, 12.3 grams of powder cocaine, a box of baking soda and a digital scale. The remains of two marijuana cigarettes were found. A loaded .45 caliber Taurus handgun was also found under the driver’s seat.
Jackson is charged with possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver cocaine, maintaining a vehicle for the sale and delivery of cocaine and conspiracy, resisting a public officer, possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana and misdemeanor possession of marijuana. He is being held in the Cumberland County Detention Center under a $25,000, secured bond.
Bingham is charged with possession with intent to manufacture sale and deliver cocaine, maintaining a vehicle for the sale and delivery of cocaine, conspiracy, possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, misdemeanor possession of marijuana and carrying a concealed weapon. He is being held in the Cumberland County Detention Center under a $35,000 secured bond.
Additionally, both men were out on bond on similar charges. Bingham also had an outstanding warrant in Cumberland and Robeson counties ranging from speeding to assault on a female and assault on a child under the age of twelve.
