Cumberland County Sheriff's Detectives are investigating an assault and robbery that has left the victim seriously injured. Danny Clay Quick, 55, whose address is known as the Coliseum Inn on Gillespie Street in Fayetteville, is in serious condition. He was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center yesterday afternoon, after suffering severe trauma to the head. Investigators say Quick was struck in the face and lost consciousness, after his assailant robbed him.  Anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office at (910) 323-1500.
