Woman Sought for Questioning in Truck Driver Beating

Authorities seeking the public's assistance in locating Lutina Oxendine.

 

Cumberland County Sheriff’s Detectives are searching for a Robeson County woman who is wanted for questioning in the assault of a long-distance truck driver.

Wael Wael (correct spelling), 46, of Jacksonville, Florida was found lying on the median on Goldsboro Road and exit 58 in northern Cumberland County on May 1, 2013.

Sought for questioning is Lutina Oxendine, 38, whose last known address was listed as Lumber Bridge.  She is an Indian female, five feet seven inches tall and weights approximately 120 pounds.  She has black hair and brown eyes.  She has a tattoo on her right arm with the words “Lumbee Lady,” as well as a rose design on her left arm.

Oxendine is known to frequent truck stops according to Debbie Tanna, Public Information Officer.

Anyone who knows of Oxendine’s whereabouts is urged to contact Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office Homicide Detectives at (910) 677-5503.

Wael remains in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center since his assault.  There has been no improvement in his condition.
