You don’t have to be a kid to enjoy what Greensboro Parks and Recreation has to offer. Here are some great activities for everyone 18 and older.

Adults-only Sports

Get together your friends for a kickball or softball team. Registration ends July 23. Basketball signups begin last this year. Don’t have a team? Sign up as a free agent. More info.

Volunteer

Help plant a garden, clean up a park, or coach a kids sports team. We need adult volunteers year round. Sign up.

Take a Hike

Did you know Greensboro has 100-plus miles of trails? From beginning to mountain man, there is a trail for you. Find yours online or by downloading the free Piedmont Discovery mobile app.

Paddle Time

Go on an adventure. Rent a kayak, canoe, or paddleboard at a City lake. No experience necessary! Learn more. 

Game On

Grab your clubs, discs, or soccer balls, because Parks and Recreation offers all kinds of golf. Try the stunning new Keeley Park Disc Golf Course. Hit a bucket of balls at Gillespie Golf Course. Or book you and some friends for a round of footgolf – a soccer-meets-golf mashup.
