Adoptable Lake Norman Pet: Brindle Pup Searching For New Home

MOORESVILLE, NC — If now is the time to adopt a new pet, consider starting your search at Happy Tails Rescue, Inc. The rescue, which has regular adoption events at Petco in Mooresville, fosters dogs in need and finds them new homes.

The next adoption event is Saturday, June 1 at 11 a.m. at Petco, located at 611 River Highway in Mooresville.

One of their available pets is Sasha, a 2-3 year-old brindle Border Collie/Mountain Cur hoping to win over her next owner.

I am a super fun brown eyed beautiful brindle 2-3 year old Border Collie/Mountain Cur mix. When my foster family first brought me into their home I was a little bit scared and didn’t really trust humans but now I have learned that people can be good and really fun to play with. I love people now and really like to play. I have a lot of energy and could play fetch with a ball or toy all day. I like to run and would love to live with a family that was very active and did lots of outdoor activities. I also LOVE the pool. I had to live with a lot of dogs in my earlier life and we were all very hungry and everyone was not very friendly so it’s hard for me to trust some dogs and I would do best as the only dog in the family. I have been waiting for my forever family to find me for over a year now and I so so hope that they’re out there reading this so we can live happily ever after together. I have a lot of love and loyalty to give to the right humans if they will just give me a chance. I am fully vetted, spayed, house and crate trained.
