MOORESVILLE, NC — If now is the time to adopt a new pet, consider starting your search at Happy Tails Rescue, Inc. The rescue, which has regular adoption events at Petco in Mooresville, fosters dogs in need and finds them new homes.

The next adoption event is Saturday, July 6 at 11 a.m. at Petco, located at 611 River Highway in Mooresville.

One of their available pets is Henna, a 3-4 year-old female Australian Cattle dog hoping to win over her next owner. She weighs 47 pounds.

House and crate trained. People and other dog selective (very typical heeler personality!!) Loves to play ball and very loyal Velcro dog. Would make a fantastic farm dog companion, loves to ride and wants to work and please. Good with other dogs and cats. She is deaf but responds well to hand commands.
